Hi! My name is Zixun, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at the University of Michigan. I have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, probability, and data analysis, and I currently work as a Graduate Student Instructor (GSI), where I help students develop both problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of course material. My teaching philosophy is centered on building intuition and confidence. Rather than simply showing students how to solve a problem, I focus on helping them understand the underlying concepts so they can tackle similar questions independently in the future. I tailor my explanations to each student's learning style and encourage questions throughout the learning process. I specialize in statistics, probability, calculus, algebra, data analysis, and statistical programming in R and Python.
